A little corner shop on Walnut Street that keeps two sets of hours — the breakfast counter opens before the sun does, and the soft serve starts at three, every single day of the week.

Most of the block is still asleep when the breakfast counter opens. By mid-afternoon the same little shop is handing cones out the window. Here are both sets of hours, exactly as the shop publishes them.

All seven days, no exceptions. School lets out, the shift ends, the window opens — and it stays open until nine.
The breakfast counter and the ice cream window keep separate hours — they are not one long day. Holidays and weather can change things, so give the shop a ring if you are making a special trip.
What we serve
Soft serve, and everything you can do with it.
A locally owned shop with a real selection — swirled, sandwiched, layered, frozen and handed straight out the window. Cards accepted, and it is all in-store pickup.

The reason for the name. Cones and cups, swirled to order and handed straight out the window.
Ice cream sandwiches
Built on a chocolate chip cookie — and there is an Oreo-crusted one for the people who know to ask.
Dole Whip
Made with Dole soft serve. A swirl with a following of its own — and the one everybody photographs.
Slushes & frozen drinks
Layered in the cup, cold enough to hurt, and usually gone before you have crossed Walnut Street.
Cups, dishes & sprinkles
For anyone who would rather have a spoon than a cone. Sprinkles are not optional if you are under ten.
Ice cream cakes
Birthdays, graduations, the Fourth of July. Red, white and blue if that is the weekend it is — give the shop a ring.
The other half
Most ice cream shops are dark at five in the morning.
This one is already open. The breakfast counter runs Monday through Friday from 5 to 9 AM, and Saturday from 7 to 11 — early enough for the people who start work before everybody else. Then the shop changes over, and by three in the afternoon it is an ice cream window again.
